Ornaments & More!
Join us for some christmas ornament making fun! We will be making 5 different ornaments in class. Two with a machine, and 3 without. You will need to bring a machine to class (for some simple shapes and topstiching, you do not need fancy machines!) and the following fabric for your ornaments:
Ornament #1: 4 strips of 4"x16" fabric, 2 each of contrasting colors
Ornament #2: 2 contrasting 9" squares of fabric
Ornament #3: 25x1.5" Square Scraps in any colors you like, along with a 6.5" square of coordinating fabric
Ornament #4: 2 Contrasting FQs of fabric
Ornament #5: 50x2.5" squares of coordinating fabric. Can be different colors in sets of 8, or 25 each of two colors, or all random.
2x3" squares of fabric for centers (so should coordinate or contrat with other squares)
1x2.5"x16" strip of fabric or minimumm of 3/4"-1" ribbon to wrap around circumference of ornament
Please do not forget....
-fabric scissors
-machine
-hand and machine needles
-thread (to match or coordinate with Ornament 2 &3)
If you'd like to bring:
-small iron plus ironing mat
-fabric glue
-pinking shears
