Foot Foundations - December - BSR & #18
Join Lynn at 1 pm in the main shop for a quick, free demo about this month's Bernina Foot of the Month. At 1:30 pm, we start our Foot Foundations class, where you review the demo, learn more in-depth about the foot, and practice using it on a quick project!
December's class will focus on the BSR! A lot of us have this foot, but how the heck do we use it? Or we've seen it and are interested, but what the heck do you do with it? Watch Lynn use hers and see the magic! We will also be using the #18 foot, the button on foot! Sew your buttons on with a FOOT!!! We will be doing some free motion applique with your BSR, and using your button on foot to add some fun buttons for decoration!
What to Bring:
- Machine (BSR, #18 foot)
- 5mm plate
- Thread of your choice, 50 wt or 12 wt for some extra pop!
- Bring an apron (we have premade aprons here!), sweatshirt, shirt, jeans, pillow blank, anything you'd like to applique on!
- Fabric scraps. If you're interested in trees, Bring some pieces in greens and smaller browns, Ornaments, bring any colors you'd like!
- Marking tool that will show on light fabric (Sewline pencil, chalk marker))
- Heavy weight Stabilizer to sew on, cut away or tear away will work.
