Robe on the Serger
Join Lynn in making a gorgeous robe on your serger! Do sergers intimidate you? Do you kind of know how to use your serger, but want to work on one in front of a teacher to alleviate some anxiety?? Do you have a serger but have you never used it because it's scary??!! Let Lynn help!!
This gorgeous robe is a cinch when you whip it up on your serger! Made out of any loose-fit cotton (after class you can try to make one out of knit!) this is a gorgeous project to make for yourself or as a gift!
Class is broken up into two days, day one is free and not mandatory! You'll be measuring, sizing, and cutting out your pattern pieces (for those of you who are unsure of your size or who need space to lay out fabrics and cut). Day Two is the actual sewing portion of class where you'll be piecing your robe. There will be a 30-minute lunch break, so bring your lunch or a snack!
Payment for class includes your pattern ($16 MSRP), and the class itself, there is no kit for class, fabric will have to be purchased and brought to class. Please wash and dry your fabric TWICE before class, and come to class with it ironed and ready to sew! Fabric doesn't shrink too much when stabilized in a quilt, but 4% is a LOT when it comes to clothing!!
