Prism Quilt Block
Join Alissa to make the Prism Quilt Block by Blooming Boldly Designs! We will be making a quilt block in class and you from there you can make a pillow, a wall hanging or an entire quilt using the techniques you learn in class!
For those of you planning to make the entire quilt, you will need the following:
- Points: 8 fat quarters
- Accent: 2/3 yard
- Center Stars: 3/4 yard
- Background: 3 1/8 yards
- Binding: 5/8 yard
- Backing: 4 1/8 yards (44" fabric) or 2 1/8 yards (108" fabric)
- Points: 4 - 3" squares and 4 - 2 5/8" square
- Points: 4 - 3 1/2" squares and 4 - 2 1/2" square
- Accent: 2 5/8" x 24"
- Center Star: 3 /18" x 16"
- Background: 1/4 yd
Your sewing Machine - power cord, pedal, a foot of your choosing for quilting
Thread - A nice cotton quilting thread of your choice (we recommend Konfetti or Efina!)
Needle - size 80
Sewing Kit - snips, seam ripper, bobbins, etc
