Silly Goose Sewing
Are you a silly goose? Do you know someone who is a silly goose? Come and stitch a silly goose with us!
We will be makign the Silly Goose pattern from Woolly Petals. Porch geese are all the rage, but how about a counter goose? Make her/him clothers, dress them up for ohlidays, jsut have fun! Options to make them either solid color or patchwork.
You MUST purchase this pattern (LINK) and have it printed before coming to class.
Supplies:
- Body - .75 yd (.67 yd)
- Wings - .25yd (.25yd)
- Feet + Beak - .25yd (.25yd)
- Legs - 6"x8" (5"x7")
- Eyes - 2" sq of felt or cotton
- Batting - 10"x20" optional
- SF101 - .25 yd for beak (1 yd optional for body interfacing as well)
- 12 oz bag of stuffing
- Thread to match (or contrast!)
- Sewing Kit (thread snips, needles - machine and hand, tweezers, bobbins, etc.)
- Bernina Feet - #37/57/97 for 1/4" seams, #18 if using buttons for eyes.
Don't forget to bring your printed pattern, sewing machine, power cord and foot control!!
