Paper Piecing 201 - Scrappy Diamonds

We will be embarking on a new papper piecing adventure! We will use our scrap fabric, and make some scrappy diamonds for a placemat, pillow top, table runner, quilt....whatever you can imagine!


We're using numbered paper piecing pattern to help keep you in control. You can bring a bunch of scraps or FQs, and a yard of background fabric to start your scrappy diamond journey! Alissa will show you how to effectively use the optional Add a Quarter rulers, but they aren't mandatory, they just make it a bit easier, and Alissa finds them to make the process quicker and more enjoyable.


Please bring your sewing machine, foot control and power cord, a 1/4" foot if you have it, and your sewing kit (snips, needles, thread, etc). Other than the standard sewing supplies, a glue stick or this 505 stick (her personal favorite) and your pattern pad! 

WARNING: Paper Piecing is addictive and you will want to make more and more and more of these blocks! You may want to purchase the add a quarter ruler HERE, it makes paper piecing much easier!
