Paper Piecing 301 - Earrings!

Make some gifts for quilty friends? Just make something fun? Make these quilted earrings! (I"m actually envisioning adorable mini Christmas tree ornaments! Attach to Zipper Pulls! Attach to barettes for your hair! OMG the ideas are endless)
Using the Carolina Moore pattern Paper Pieced Jewelry Vol #1, we will be making a few pairs of earrings in class. Alissa will help you navigate the mini paper piecing world and make gorgeous creations you'll want to wear everywhere.
Supplies:
- Scraps - perfect for all your beloved scraps - something about 5"x5" for the back of each earring
- Thread, there is some topstitching, so something to coordinate or contrast if you dare
- Sewing Kit - snips, scissors, needles - both hand and machine, point turner (like That Purple Thang)
- Sewing Machine - #1 foot is my favorite for this project for fabric control, #10 for edgestitching and topstitching if you like
